As Registered Clinical Counsellor (#21205), my practice specializes in neurodiversity-affirming and trauma-informed care. I help people navigate away from depression, anxiety, chronic illness, or cycles of burnout and isolation driven by loud inner critics or general feelings of overwhelm, towards self-acceptance and authentically relating with others.
I draw from my experience from myself as a late-diagnosed neurodiverse person, generational cycle breaker, and former neuroscience researcher, and I have worked to support the well-being of adults, children, and families with complex needs since 2017.
Individual Counselling (Adults & Teens 13+)
Our work together starts from a place of comfort to support you with anything you need. I here if you need thoughtful reflection for more clarity into your emotions, or encouragement for adjusting to changes in your life and planning for your next steps.
My practice is grounded Attachment Theory and informed by training in gentle and effective modalities including Internal Family Systems, Emotionally Focused Therapy, and Sensorimotor Therapy. I provide a trauma-informed and neurodivergence-affirming space for deep healing for those wanting to gain insight on current habits to make space for new ways of being, or to set meaningful boundaries to practice new ways of relating to others.
Relationship and Family Counselling
I provide a supportive and nonjudgmental space for individuals, relationships, and families to explore communication patterns, resolve conflicts, navigate cultural obligations, and find new ways of connecting with loved ones.
My work is informed by training in Emotionally Focused Therapy as well as years of experience helping families and youth navigate life transitions and other complex needs. I help address underlying emotional needs and help clients develop greater empathy and understanding for one another.

I work from a neuro-affirming perspective to help neurodivergent adults and teens on their process of self-understanding and to find ways of authentic being that works for you. Whether you are just starting to wonder if your experiences may not be “the norm” or you have already obtained your official diagnosis and are now wanting support in handling your persistent drive for autonomy, navigate burnout recovery, or practice clear communication in your relationships, I can help.

If any experiences have left you feeling persistently helpless, unsafe, or overwhelmed, you may be struggling with trauma. Beyond the pain, trauma is grief, a loss of the sense of a coherent self, the sense of safety, and self-worth. I work with trauma-informed, gentle, and effective modalities including Emotionally Focused Therapy and Internal Family Systems to provide a sense of groundedness and safety from within.

Burnout isn’t the same as regular exhaustion, its all-encompassing, likened to “being alive without a cleanup crew.“ If you experience constant physical exhaustion, brain fog, and loss of ability to handle stress. If this sounds like you, then I offer a place to make sense of your struggles, explore new ways of coping, and build lasting resilience.

Having worked with teens experiencing academic stress and tech addictions for many years, I specialize in helping parents and children establish thoughtful boundaries with technology use. Growing up is a complex process in today’s demanding world. I provide support to ease the stress and self-doubt that comes with the daily decisions involved, provide strategies to build deeper connection between family members and foster healthier dynamics and promoting long-term relational well-being.

Chronic pain is more than the experience of pain, it is often unpredictable and can alter every aspect of life. Mental health is one aspect that is often affected by pain. I can help with connecting with your body, processing the grief associated with lost time, and move towards living fully.

Moving towards a new chapter in life can be a difficult process. I prove a space for authentic reflection all of your feelings. I offer a space to help you unpack your concerns honour mixed emotions, and help you prepare for whatever your next chapter in life may bring. Life changes may be challenging, but with proper support, it can also be an opportunity for deep reflection and growth.

Depression isn’t just low mood or self-esteem, it’s being so low that even imagining that help exists can seem impossible. Counselling can help you gather the courage to pick things up on those low-energy days and find meaningful joy in small moments.

Anxiety can mean constantly looking over your shoulder or being wary of others, and it can be a force that limits your life. Counselling can offer a calm place to explore your fears and take steps to fully embrace your life.
